Why Pink Onions? 

Pink Onions are the most widely eaten onions in the world. Enjoyed by millions across the world finding themselves in a wealth and diverse range of wonderful recipes and dishes spanning the globe. However, this trend is yet to catch on in the UK where pink onions are simply unknown and un-heard of.

 

This bought tears to our eyes, so we made it our mission to spread the word and make pink onions available to consumers all over the UK, gracing haggis's in the Hills of scotland, to cornish pasty's in the depths of Cornwall.

However we just had to go that step further; Yes we wanted Pink Onions to cover the UK, but we also wanted them to be grown in an ethical and sustainable manner and grown on British soils with trusted growers. 5 years down the line we've got this mastered and have some super "Pink Growers" on board growing fields of Pink across the Essex/Suffolk countryside.

 

Onions often find themselves as a starting point for alot of recipes, being cut into pieces and activating flavour, texture and intensity into a recipe or dish. On top of this, Pink Onions also add beautiful colour, and a flavour which is unique yet distinctive. Such attributes make Pink Onions stand out and are a great centre piece of a dish, not solely as just an ingredient.  We have some great recipes to get your taste buds tingling.
